I know the MN family is dying to hear what Papa's been up to on his CO visit....we're not faithful bloggers out here, so bear with us!
Last Wed-Fri we went up to stay in the family's Estes cabin. We brought up the camper so the kids would have another thing to play in and it was a gorgeous few days in the mountains. My friend June and her 2 kids came up for one night and the kids had a blast. We had campfires, played t-ball in the yard, went to the bumper boat/mini-golf/bungee trampoline place (which Zach thinks is called "Estes Park". "Can we go to Estes Park now?" "Zach, we're in Estes Park" "No, I want to go play mini-golf at Estes Park". hahahahahaha
June and I colored our hair one morning, laughing out on the deck.
The kids got so dirty they had a community foot washing.
We tried to spit cherry pits at Zach who was standing in a pick-up truck while we were on the deck.
We hiked around Lily Lake, taking lots of pictures and exploring and finding critters. We saw rabbits, ducks, chipmunks, elk with full antlers, a long rodent of some kind-looked like a wild ferrett-not sure what it was. We had a great time!
